RELEASE OF HUGIN 9.8

The main new feature of HUGIN software in version 9.8 is a improved the Data Frame to, for instance, find inconsistent evidence (single findings). Several other new features have been added to HUGIN software as described below.

HUGIN Graphical User Interface v.9.8

Updates related to the HUGIN Graphical User Interface include:

  • Several improvements to the Data Frame
    • Function to find the source of inconsistent evidence (single findings)
    • Improved save function
    • Right click menu option to clear selected cells
    • Zoom in plots
    • Easier to delete multiple rows
  • Nodes are sorted in several drop down selection boxes
  • In the Hidden Node Analyzer the table is updated after each iteration of the algorithm
  • It is possible to show the Markov Blanket of a node
  • The performance of computing the mutual information for all pairs in the Value of Information dialog is improved
  • Button to import information from class
  • Other user experience improvements


Finally, work has been done to improve the user experience of the HUGIN Graphical User Interface.

HUGIN Decision Engine v.9.8

Updates related to the HUGIN Decision Engine:

  • The R package RHugin has been updated. The latest version of the package is available from GitHub: https://github.com/huginexpert/RHugin
  • Swift API updated to include interface files
